A leading Contracting company in KSA is seeking to recruit the following

Tendering & Estimation Manager

Responsibilities:

• Involved from initial bid to client handover. 
• Lead & manage the tender/estimation department along with cost control team from receiving the invitation up to project closing
• Liaise with Procurement, Design and Operational teams to produce detailed quotes 
• Study, analyse and evaluate tender documents technically and commercially for Hard and Soft Services in order to identify risk factors in coordination with the Division Heads, for the overall risk assessment and bid decision. 
• Lead and manage proposals and marketing to develop high-quality end products, including client pre-qualifications, presentations, and associated materials. 
• Enquire, consult and coordinate with client & consultant representatives for specification/ technical and BOQ clarifications required for tenders and proposals. 
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal as per RFP requirements like Tender Executive Summary, Company Introduction, Tender Organization Chart, Methodology statement for each service i.e., Hard and Soft Services, Mobilization & Transition in Plan, Manpower/Resource Histogram, Training Plan, Quality Management, Health & Safety, etc. 
• Liaise with the Procurement department to negotiate with approved vendors / suppliers and subcontractors for various services/ materials as per RFP requirement. 
• Finalize estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidates tender documents for management review and approval. 
• Provide all the necessary project clarifications/ information upon project award to the Project Manager & Team as per the project budget; advises the Project Manager on contractual rights, remedies which has been taken into consideration during tendering. 
• Generate regular reports status highlighting progress on concerned tenders. 
• Prepare and generates weekly, monthly progress reports highlighting tender wins/ losses (indicating reasons) for review and verification of management. 
• Cost controlling & Monitoring for projects budgets and well dealing with company’s systems.
• He performs any other work assigned to him by the line manager and falls within the nature of his work.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in civil construction estimating/ tendering.
• Excellent knowledge of tendering procedures, policies, and regulations in Saudi Arabia&Previously worked with a leading national or regional construction contractor
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Expert knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts and KSA standards and regulations
• Strong MS Office skills and advanced knowledge of construction estimating. software programs.
• Proven experience in bid management and quality writing
• Market survey/analysis and establishing contacts.
