A leading Contracting company in KSA is seeking to recruit the following

Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control processes and systems to monitor and manage projects costs.
• Prepare and maintain projects budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze and report on project financial performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Work closely with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall project profitability.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Evaluate and track project change orders, ensuring appropriate cost control and approval processes are followed.
• Develop and implement cost control best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support project managers in the development of project budgets and cost management strategies.
• Train project teams in cost control processes, tools, and techniques.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses as required to support project decision-making and management reporting.
• Controlling and monitoring the project total expenditure, including verifying, and checking the invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
• He performs any other work assigned to him by the line manager and falls within the nature of his work.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 8 years of professional experience in project controls with an emphasis on cost and project estimating. 
• Experience with the development and construction of Building projects.
• Experience and demonstrated skill in directing cost estimating and cost analysis of civil, MEP & Finishing projects.
• Experience and demonstrated skill in directing project cost engineering functions cost control, and cost analysis. Experience and demonstrated skill in establishing criteria for Project Controls activities.
• Experience working within or directly supporting a client’s project organization.
• Knowledge of statistical correlation and regression analysis of estimate variance, with an advanced understanding of how to apply real-world applications of statistical theory.
• Skilled in providing direction, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel. Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated skill in presenting cost engineering information to management/clients.
• Demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing, and solving problems.
• Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and commissioning, and operations work processes.
